There are some other aspects to the story, which I won’t spoil here.
Terminator resistance rating series#
From there its another series of missions to try and cripple Skynet and lead an all out assault on Skynet’s core. The Stranger urges them to evacuate the hideout and they seek refuge at Commander Baron’s bunker.

Jacob is then ambushed by a “skin job”, but is saved once again by a mysterious stranger who crushes it with an 18-wheeler. You’re then sent to carry out a series of recon missions to help weaken Skynet’s defences. While carrying out some scavenging missions, you eventually meet up with a Tech-com unit under the leadership of Commander Jessica Baron. You can either leave right then and there or look for other survivors I chose the latter, since I’m a bad ass resistance fighter. Shortly after, you run into a woman named Jennifer and her surrogate brother Patrick, who lead you to a group of scavengers and their hideout. Your unit gets ambushed by a group of Terminators, but Rivers manages to escape thanks to some help from an unidentified voice over a radio. Set during The Future War, you plays a private Jacob Rivers, a member of the Pacific Division resistance squad. It all culminated into a surprisingly alright game that I hope we can see more of from mid-shelf, “double A” games. The game is a perfectly satisfactory FPS sandbox game, even kind of good in certain parts. That should be the anarchist’s cookbook for terrible games…And yet, Terminator Resistance manages to overcome all of those obstacles.
Terminator resistance rating movie#
Upon first glance, Terminator Resistance has all of the hallmarks of a bad game: A movie-licensed, tie-in game (where the movie IP has been going downhill since T2) made by a barely mid-tier developer who’s claim to fame was that awful Rambo: The Video Game rail shooter, released under a publisher that barely anyone has heard of in the games industry and having that game come out after Terminator: Dark Fate. no I do not but souks you give it a go ? Sure it’s an easy 1000g that can be done in 10 hours or less. I stayed away from this game after seeing gameplay and waited until it was in a sale and I only payed £30 for the game instead of £50 but do I feel like £30 was cheap enough ? After actually playing it myself.

Taking into consideration that the development team behind their title are not experienced with developing this type of title it’s a decent effort to put their name on the AAA market. One thing I did like about the game was the options of dialogue and decision making to change the ending of the game whilst at the time each decision does not change much but the ending is effected and so far after two playthroughs I have experienced two separate endings although the fate of some characters are exactly the same. Sensitivity is awful, gunplay feels off at points, consistently getting stuck on corners of walls or getting stuck in the game world items such as tables, chairs etc etc. Gameplay is as you would expect from a game trying to be a triple A dev game but failing in most aspects. The story is not all that bad but it’s the voice acting that ruins the immersion for me, at some points the voices are in key but 80% of the time the voices sound like they are speaking through a tin can then the volume blasted into overdrive. You play as resistance member Jacob rivers of the pasific division after your entire squad is wiped out and you meet up with some survivors then it turns into your stereo typical FPS going to specific objectives to either retrieve an item and take I back or go here kill that then return. Taking place in the future war, the events of T1 and T2 judgement day, between man and the machine’s of Skynet. Terminator resistance is a first person shooter developed by Teyon, known for mostly on-rails shooters such as heavy fire and Rambo the video game but have done plenty of games for the ds, 3ds and pc, and published by Reef entertainment.
